Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
  • 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, distribution, customer service, or supply chain operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with transportation management, warehouse management, or ERP systems (TMS, WMS, SAP, Oracle) is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers, warehouses, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Monitor pickup and delivery activity; proactively communicate delays and resolve service issues.
  • Support cross-functional reporting and communication across applicable departments.
  • Maintain accurate shipment, carrier, delivery, and logistics records in applicable systems and trackers.
  • Support daily communication and coordination with the managed services partner and external logistics vendors.
  • Track key performance indicators and assist with recurring performance reports.
  • Review freight documentation and help resolve discrepancies and charges.
  • Partner with procurement, production, customer service, sales, and finance to support business needs.
  • Identify process gaps and contribute to continuous improvement efforts that enhance service and control costs.

The Role

We’re looking for aLogistics Coordinator in San Antonio, TX to support the day-to-day execution of inbound and outbound logistics activities, helping to ensure products move accurately, efficiently, and on schedule. This role coordinates with internal teams, carriers, warehouses, and the managed services partner; monitors shipment status and key service metrics; maintains accurate records; and helps resolve transportation and delivery issues. What You'll Do:

  • Partner with procurement, production, customer service, sales, and finance teams to support business and customer needs.
  • Identify process gaps and contribute to continuous improvement efforts that enhance service and control costs.
  • Follow all company policies and applicable safety, regulatory, and documentation requirements.
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
  • 1-3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, distribution, customer service, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative, service-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to analyze information, troubleshoot issues, and elevate concerns appropriately.
  • Experience working with transportation management, warehouse management, or ERP systems (such as TMS, WMS, SAP, or Oracle). (preferred)
  • Familiarity with freight documentation, carrier coordination, KPI tracking, and logistics reporting. (preferred)
  • Experience in consumer packaged goods, beverage, manufacturing, or a similar fast-paced distribution environment. (preferred)
