The Logistics Coordinator will work closely with various departments, suppliers and customers; as a key role in the process of executing customer orders. Reporting to the Logistics and Delivery Manager, the Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for the movement of raw materials, requiring them to work closely with the Purchasing, Warehouse, and Order Planning teams, as well as coordinating with suppliers and carriers, to meet company needs. This will be a customer-facing role, coordinating outbound deliveries directly with customers and carriers. They will play a role in pricing orders, working with Sales and Finance to provide quotes for inbound and outbound shipments. They will be required to prepare and store shipping documentation, along with transactional duties for the movement of goods in our ERP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinating deliveries between internal departments, carriers and customers.
• Escalating customer complaints and working with internal teams to provide solutions.
• Working with Sales, OTD and Customers to ensure delivery requirements are known and met.
• Coordinating shipments for raw materials across our different warehouse locations.
• Planning inbound deliveries according to the needs of the plant and warehouse limitations.
• Assisting with inventory counts for 3PL locations and in transit goods.
• Identifying opportunities to improve logistics processes.
• Sourcing new carrier partners and improving existing relationships.
• Analyzing KPI’s to identify cost reduction and process improvement opportunities.
• Taking feedback from customer and internal stakeholders to optimize service.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain or equivalent and two (2) years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

• Experience using logistics software is considered an asset
• Thorough knowledge of all logistic processes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suites
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proven ability to multi-task and solve problems
• Strong Lean Manufacturing and process improvement experience
• Ability to take direction and work independently
• Exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Salary Range: $55,000 to $75,000 Annually
