Job summary

CHEP is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage order fulfilment, inventory balance, and delivery execution for an area with about 550 orders per week and significant yearly spend. You will coordinate transportation, monitor performance, and resolve logistics issues while supporting multiple internal teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years in logistics, plus experience with SAP BW Access, LEAN, and Siebel. A hybrid work model and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Are you a problem-solver that enjoys solving complex puzzles while connecting the necessary dots for a positive outcome? Come join our high energy Logistics Team as a Logistics Coordinator! The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for order fulfilment, inventory balancing, and order execution of Entry Level Markets which are defined as Planning Clusters of an average volume of 550 orders per week with an average annual spend of $MM. The Logistics Coordinator will proactively manage customer collections and deliveries to ensure customer expectations are exceeded. Actively manage all relocations and other moves related to the operation and service of the network. Provide Holiday Coverage per Logistics Rotational and assigned schedule.

Key Responsibilities May Include:

Oversee the execution of order processing to ensure on-time deliveries to customers and monitor logistics performance. Manage dedicated fleets and transportation routes, ensuring compliance with delivery schedules and minimizing disruptions. Serve as a key point of contact for customers, addressing queries, managing urgent requests, and resolving logistics-related issues in real-time. Support central teams in managing and resolving logistics-related incidents, ensuring minimal impact on service levels. Track performance metrics related to on-time deliveries, transport quality, and customer satisfaction. Proactively address any variances. Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, optimize costs, and enhance service delivery through collaboration with internal teams and third‑party providers. Collaborate with customer service, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment of logistics activities with broader business goals.

What You Will Do:

Major/Key Accountabilities: Execute on-time to an area volume ~550 truckloads per week. Deliver to average cost per unit budget for market. Tender all optimized and manually planned issues, collections, and stock transfers within responsible area. Efficiently tracking of all CHEP arranged freight due for delivery daily to ensure on-time shipment and delivery. Manages transporter base to ensure consistent customer service and on‑time delivery by working cross functionally and with provider. Resolves all loads in Booked Not Shipped (BNS), Booked Not Received (BNR), In‑transit Relocations statuses daily. Maintains accurate electronic documentation revolving around responsible area with systematic tools not limited to (SAP, Siebel, Outlook, LEAN, Logistics cockpit, etc.). Provide Holiday coverage per Logistics rotation schedule. Plan all STOs (TPMs), Issues, and Collections within required lead time that fall outside of Master Planning.

What You Will Bring:

Qualifications Essential: Knowledge of Excel, Windows, and MapPoint. Bachelor’s Degree in related field or 2+ years of relevant experience. Good understanding of warehouse and transportation procedures/operations. Experience in the following areas: SAP BW Access, LEAN, Siebel. Experience 1 year in logistics, customer service, operations and or transportation.

What To Expect:

Scope Responsible for planning and execution of assigned entry level market. Volume is estimated at 28,000 truckloads annually per week with an annual spend $MM.
