Covia has an immediate opening for a Logistics Coordinator based in our Independence, OH location. The Logistics Coordinator will manage the booking of export container shipments from several Covia plants in the U.S. and Canada. In addition, this position carries the responsibility of assisting with maintenance activities surrounding our fleet of leased railcars utilized in the U.S. and Canada. These activities are accomplished by developing, organizing, and maintaining export logistics company contacts and utilizing those contacts to arrange freight and resolve issues as necessary. For the fleet‑related items, this position is designed to work closely with the Fleet Analyst to identify railcar issues and to address them via a network of established rail repair shops.
