Job summary

ACERTUS is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to coordinate, plan, and execute dispatch operations for our nationwide fleet logistics service line in New Jersey.

You will motivate drivers, evaluate requests, assign routes, maintain systems, and communicate timelines to customers to ensure on-time delivery and service quality.

The role requires 2+ years in office software, strong communication and logistics skills, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience with Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines and client expectations.
• Decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and time management.
• Strong logistics and geographic skills.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience with transportation software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate dispatch operations for drivers and staff.
• Evaluate pickup/delivery requests and assign drivers.
• Plan routes to meet client needs and expectations.
• Maintain internal systems for communication with customers.
• Communicate delivery/pickup times with customers.
• Coordinate with driving personnel to ensure satisfaction.
• Analyze daily reports to identify efficiency improvements.
• Develop action plans with drivers to reduce service failures.
• Ensure compliance with FMCSR, state and local regulations.
• Ensure receipts for services are submitted.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will coordinate, plan, and execute dispatch operations to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness of driver personnel within our nationwide fleet logistics service line.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay:$25/hr

What will you be doing?

• Motivate a staff of professional drivers and other dispatch/operations personnel.
• Evaluate incoming pick-up and delivery requests and determine driver assignments.
• Analyze client orders and available driving personnel to plan and execute within client needs and expectations.
• Maintain and update information in internal systems to ensure proper communication with both internal and external customers.
• Communicate with personnel or customers to estimate time of delivery or pickups.
• Coordinate with driving personnel to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Analyze reports on daily basis and identify areas of improved efficiency.
• Develop action plans with driving personnel to reduce service failure.
• Ensure compliance with all FMCSR, State and Local regulations regarding dispatch operations and safe driving operations.
• Ensures driver maintains and submit receipts for all services performed.
• Must be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
