Data Center Storage & Logistics is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage shipments, inventory and client updates from dock to data hall. You will coordinate inbound/outbound moves, track freight, and prepare required documents while ensuring compliance and timely communication with clients.
Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in logistics, proficiency with Excel/Outlook/Teams, and experience with Rose Rocket and MacroPoint. This is an on-site role with occasional travel.
Data Center Storage & Logistics (DCSL) is the physical bridge to digital growth: we receive, store and deliver high-value equipment for data center builds. The Logistics Coordinator keeps that equipment moving on time, scheduling shipments, tracking inventory and keeping clients informed from the dock to the data hall.
Schedule inbound and outbound shipments, carrier pickups and data center delivery appointments.
Track freight in transit and resolve delays, damages and missed appointments as they happen.
Prepare and file shipping documents: bills of lading, packing lists, proofs of delivery and receiving logs.
Work incoming requests from the transport@ inbox and the Smartsheet transportation request form, turning each into a quote or order.
Build and manage loads in Rose Rocket (TMS), track them in MacroPoint, and keep client Gryps.io dashboards current.
Tender loads only to carriers on DCSL's approved roster (no public load boards), and verify carrier COIs and compliance before dispatch.
Record receipts and releases in the transportation management system (TMS), including serial numbers and asset tags.
Verify that equipment is released only to authorized client contacts and that chain-of-custody records are complete.
Support cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies with the warehouse team.
Send shipment notifications and status updates to client contacts.
Respond to client requests for inventory reports, delivery status and documentation.
Escalate service issues to the Logistics Director with the facts and a proposed fix.
Help onboard new clients, including collecting intake forms and setting up contacts and sites.
Review carrier invoices against shipments and flag billing errors.
Follow DCSL SOPs and suggest improvements where steps repeat or break down.
High school diploma or equivalent.
1–3 years of experience in logistics, freight, warehousing, or supply chain coordination.
Working knowledge of shipping documents (BOLs, PODs, packing lists).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Teams.
Ability to pass a background check.
Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record may be required; driving records may be re-reviewed periodically during employment. Employment is subject to a background check conducted in accordance with applicable law.
Ability and willingness to travel to DCSL warehouse locations as needed.
Associate or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain or business.
Experience with a TMS platform such as Rose Rocket and tracking tools such as MacroPoint.
Experience handling high-value or serialized equipment, especially IT or data center hardware.
Familiarity with FTL and white-glove freight.
Experience coordinating oversize/overweight and heavy-haul moves, including permits, escorts and route surveys.
Detail-oriented: serial numbers, dates and release authorizations must be exact.
Calm under pressure when trucks run late or plans change.
Clear, prompt written communication with clients and carriers.
Organized enough to juggle many shipments and deadlines at once.
Office-based work inside an active warehouse; time on the warehouse floor is expected.
Occasional early, late or weekend hours to support delivery windows.
Able to lift up to 50 lb occasionally.
Occasional travel to client and project sites
Own daily dispatch and tracking for existing DCSL clients.
Learn DCSL's approved carrier bench and onboarding process.
Run loads end to end in Rose Rocket, from request to proof of delivery and invoice review.
