As a Logistics Consultant, your responsibilities include sales, customer service, and managing your customers' freight needs. You will collaborate with carrier partners and shippers, overseeing the full lifecycle of shipments in your portfolio. Providing exceptional customer service, you will build long-term relationships and ensure goods are picked up, transported safely, and delivered on time. You will act as the liaison between clients, carriers, shippers, and receivers.
You will conduct contract negotiations to maintain competitive pricing, collaborate on pricing strategies, and perform high-volume cold-calling to develop your client base. Staying informed on market conditions and technology through ongoing training is essential. Your efforts will contribute to your success and satisfaction as you help other companies optimize their supply chains and see the results reflected in your paycheck.
Prior sales experience is preferred but not mandatory; operational experience in 3PL/logistics is a plus.
