Job summary

Maker's Pride in Seelyville, IN is seeking a Warehouse Receiver to handle inbound goods and provide administrative support to the warehouse leadership team.

You will verify bills of lading, schedule appointments, prep orders, and maintain shipping/receiving documentation, while upholding safety and organization in a fast-paced environment.

Forklift experience is preferred but not required; strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Six to twelve months related work experience and/or training.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming goods and shipments in accordance with procedures.
• Provide administrative support to warehouse leadership.
• Review bills of lading, verify trailer seals, schedule appointments.
• Prepare orders, process shipments, pack boxes, stage orders for delivery.
• Maintain shipping/receiving documents and daily reports.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and cooperate with supervisors.

Job Summary

Performs the receipt of incoming goods and/or shipments of finished goods in compliance with established procedures. Provide administrative support to the warehouse leadership team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Routine duties of checking in drivers, review Bill of Lading, verify trailer seals, schedule appointments, maintain shipping and/or receiving documentation, reconcile receipt information, and maintain daily reports Ability to drive a forklift (preferred but not required) Prepares orders by processing shipments and sample orders; packing boxes; staging orders in delivery area Verify that the goods are intact and report any defects. Completes receipt and delivery of parcel packages to order requestor(s) Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Communicate and cooperate with Supervisors and coworkers. Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience

High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or six to twelve months related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
