Job summary

Gildan is seeking a Logistics Clerk based in Charleston, SC to perform clerical functions for inbound and outbound freight within the Logistics department. You will organize documentation, maintain driver logs, track shipments, and generate daily status reports.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma, 1-3 years related experience, and strong MS Office skills; familiarity with WMS and customs is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1-3 years related experience preferred.
• MS Office proficiency (Excel/Word/Outlook) required.
• Experience with customs highly desired.
• Good written and verbal English communication.
• Basic Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience preferred.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Must be able to sit/stand for a majority of the workday.

Responsibilities

• Performs clerical functions for inbound/outbound freight in Logistics.
• Organizes and sets up documentation for freight processing.
• Maintains Inbound/Outbound Driver Log for SDC.
• Tracks inbound international shipments from origin to destination for multiple facilities.
• Communicates with brokers, carriers and drivers to ensure timely clearance and delivery.
• Generates daily reports reflecting container status and outbound loads.
• Manages empty equipment and movement between facilities and carriers.
• Manages outbound shipments to customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
