Job summary

Gildan Yarns in Charleston, SC seeks a Forklift Trainer to lead DC training on equipment, WM/E1/EXCEL/Outlook, and safety procedures. You will conduct classes, develop SOPs, and maintain training records while supporting daily pallet and case moves.

This role requires proficient communication, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Strong Microsoft Office and WMS experience are preferred, along with RF scanner knowledge and the ability to lift 50 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to a fast-paced DC environment.
• Safety procedures and PPE knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver forklift and equipment operation training to hourly associates.
• Create and maintain training records and reports in WM/LMS/Tableau as needed.
• Operate and train on DC powered equipment and related software.
• Administer operator testing and evaluate training effectiveness.
• Assist with pallet moves and standard DC operations as required.
