Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Shakopee, Minnesota is seeking an Operations Clerk to join our warehouse team. The role offers first shift hours, weekly pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities include clerical tasks, reporting, and coordination with floor teams to ensure smooth operations. Ideal candidates have 1+ year of clerical or warehouse experience, familiarity with Microsoft Office, and strong communication skills. Forklift experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year or more clerical or warehouse experience preferred.
• One year or more forklift experience preferred.
• One year or more Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates customer service skills.
• Ability to build professional relationships within all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates activities with clerks from other floor areas, the customer and/or other suppliers as needed.
• Uses the location's WMS system to update area or shift metrics.
• Generates daily, weekly or monthly reports and summaries.
• Floor work and additional duties as assigned.
• Performs basic administrative tasks for area or shift; maintains filing systems.
• Gathers information from floor employees in area of support.
• Coordinates meetings/communication for the area or shift.
• Performs other duties as assigned depending on area supported.
