The Transportation Broker Associate plays a pivotal role in the success of the freight brokerage division by owning the end--to-end carrier relationship lifecycle. This includes strategic sourcing, capacity planning, cost control, and service execution. The role directly influences the brokerage’s ability to meet customer expectations, optimize transportation spend, and achieve annual operating goals.
The position requires cross-functional collaboration with operations, sales, and customer service teams, and demands a high level of responsiveness, strategic thinking, and market insight. This role also serves as a key escalation point for carrier-related issues and is expected to provide 24/7 support as needed to ensure seamless execution and service continuity.
