Job summary

Avispa MedOps is seeking a Logistics Associate in Santa Rosa, CA, for a 24-month assignment with 40 hours per week. The role involves warehouse receiving, inventory management, and shipping while supporting safety and continuous improvement efforts. Salary starts at $20/hr, with standard benefits and onsite work.

Responsibilities include data entry, equipment operation, and collaboration across teams to resolve delays, plus training and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint.
• Ability to type at least 35 WPM.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
• Familiarity with warehousing best practices.
• Experience operating material handling equipment.
• Knowledge of LEAN methodologies or waste reduction experience.
• Experience with ERP and trade/logistics applications.
• Ability to travel to other sites for ad hoc support.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse activities related to receiving, inventory management, and shipping, including unloading/loading, counting, verifying shipments, data entry, picking, packing, shipping, and reporting.
• Operate material handling equipment as needed and maintain safety and quality compliance.
• Resolve obstacles or delays, escalate unclear questions to supervisor, and communicate with teams and customers.
• Support cross-department process improvements and LEAN waste-reduction initiatives.
• Provide on-the-job training and document time worked in the system.
