Job summary

JobScore, Inc. in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking a Logistics Associate to perform warehouse receiving, inventory management, and shipping activities. The position is onsite and pays $20 per hour for a 40-hour workweek on a 24-month assignment.

Responsibilities include unloading/loading, data entry, reports, use of forklifts and other equipment, and ensuring accuracy of shipments while adhering to quality and LEAN standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, SharePoint).
• Typing speed of at least 35 WPM.
• Willingness to work onsite and travel to other sites.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
• Familiarity with warehousing best practices.
• Experience with ERP and trade/logistics applications preferred.
• Experience operating material handling equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse activities related to receiving, inventory management, and shipping, including unloading/loading incoming material, counting, verifying shipment accuracy, data entry, picking, packing, shipping, maintaining department databases, creating/updating reports, and filing.
• Operate material handling equipment as needed, such as forklifts, electric pallet jacks, shrink-wrap machines, carousels, walkie-stackers, Insta-Pak, and order pickers, and comply with quality, business control, import/export requirements.
• Support and suggest alternative material handling processes across departments based on production needs, collaborate across sites on LEAN waste-reduction initiatives, and participate in team meetings.
• Provide on-the-job training and accurate time reporting in the time management system.
