Job description

Responsibilities

1. Locates parts specified in sales and production orders
2. Picks materials and verifies correct part numbers and quantities
3. Operates industrial equipment (forklift, tugger, electric pallet jacks, and man-up vehicles)
4. Delivers material to product lines on an hourly basis (or faster)
5. Cycle Count as required
6. Develops and feedbacks ideas for improvements and assists with implementation
7. Maintains 5S system in work area
8. Manages all product flow using SAP and other documentation as necessary

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Must be able to learn/identify differences in series of products to ensure accurate and quality product is delivered to value stream
3. Able to frequently lift at least 30 lbs
4. Able to stand and walk 90% of working time
5. Able to operate an RFID scanner
6. Able to navigate computer systems and operate a printer
7. Must demonstrate ability to perform all job assignments on a rotating basis
8. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
9. High level of associate involvement, teamwork, initiative
10. Strong commitment to customers, both internal and external (customer-focused)
11. Strive for continuous improvement of oneself and the surrounding work environment
12. Effective communication and interaction with fellow associates
13. Ability to function in a team environment with little supervision
