SCHUNK USA is seeking a Logistics Associate for the Shipping Department with hours 10:30am - 7pm, Monday through Friday. You will support order fulfillment and manage packaging for shipment. In this role you will handle stock, verify received items, keep records, and operate pallet jacks and forklifts. A High School diploma and ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

Must have a High School diploma.
Could lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical duties.
Experience in picking/packing and warehouse operations preferred.
Ability to read catalogs, price lists, and inventory documents.
Experience with ERP/sales/order systems; SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare toolholding, workholding automation, spare parts for shipment per SCHUNK packaging procedures.
Perform order picking, packing, and process small to LTL freight.
Receive, stock, and manage inventory.
Maintain records, files, and a clean, safe workspace.
Verify items received against PO and packing list/invoice.
Operate pallet jacks, forklifts and other material handling equipment.

Logistics Associate

Shipping Department --Hours: 10:30am - 7pm (Monday - Friday)

You Will Be Responsible For

Preparing toolholding, workholding automation, spare parts, and other products for shipment, using SCHUNK's packaging procedures to the customer.
Order picking, packing, and processing of small, medium packages and LTL freight.
Receiving, putting up stock, and otherwise handling inventory.
Maintaining records, files, and a clean and safe working environment.
Verifying items received by comparing the purchase order and the packing list/invoice.
Operating material handling equipment including pallet jacks, fork trucks and others as required to perform responsibilities.

Qualifications

High School diploma
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
Picking, Packing, Warehouse experience
Ability to read, understand and interpret documents such as catalogs, price lists, inventory lists, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to use or learn to use ERP sales/order applications and/or systems. SAP experience is preferred.
Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
Valid driver's license and ability to obtain SCHUNK fork truck license
Ability to count, add, substract, divide, and multiply
Previous exposure to working in a fast-paced team environment with minimal supervision
Ability to use initiative to identify and solve customer and product delivery problems
