Job summary

Form Energy is seeking an experienced professional to support day‑to‑day supply chain and logistics operations from its Weirton area worksite. The hybrid role combines on‑site work three days weekly with remote elements, focusing on data‑driven optimization of shipments and cost control.

You will own shipment execution, build dashboards, govern datasets, and liaise with carriers and internal teams to align with production and financial controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations.
• Strong understanding of transportation modes (air, ocean, truckload, LTL) and freight forwarder relationships.
• Experience with customs brokers and trade documentation.
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets (advanced formulas, pivot tables).
• Experience building data visualizations with Sigma, Tableau, or PowerBI.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to travel within the US as needed.

Responsibilities

• Own daily shipment execution and bookings across domestic and international modes (air, ocean, ground), optimizing cost versus speed.
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve logistics dashboards and data visualizations using Sigma and other BI tools.
• Maintain and govern logistics datasets, ensuring data integrity and translating raw data into actionable insights.
• Serve as the primary analytical interface with carriers, freight forwarders, and brokers, evaluating service performance and supporting quarterly reviews.
• Monitor shipment visibility and exception trends, conduct root‑cause analysis, and partner cross‑functionally to implement long‑term corrective actions.
• Manage freight invoice review and reconciliation, validating charges against contracted rates and shipment details.
• Partner cross‑functionally with shipping/receiving, supply planning, procurement, manufacturing, and finance to align execution with production schedules and financial controls.
• Manage customs classifications, trade documentation, and import/export processing, and keep internal workflows up to date with regulatory shifts.
