Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Logistics Analyst to apply analytical methods to understand and control logistics operations. You will manage data, analyze performance, and develop recommendations aligned with management goals.

The role requires self-motivation, attention to detail, and strong communication, as you work across multiple logistics functions and vendor relationships. You will create and analyze reports, build tools to improve processes, and maintain cost forecasts while handling ad-hoc

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Math or Finance degree preferred.
Experience with Six Sigma or other Process Improvement Methodology.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word and Visio.
Advanced skills in Mini-Tab, Access, SQL, Visual Basic for Data Acquisition and Analysis.

Responsibilities

Create and analyze reports to support business execution.
Develop business tools and solutions to improve Logistics processes.
Support vendor/business partner relationships.
Develop and maintain cost estimates, forecasts, and cost models.
Perform data management via data mining, modeling, analysis, and cost/benefit studies.
Support the business with ad-hoc queries and maintain department reports.
