Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Logistics Analyst to apply data-driven methods to understand, predict, and optimize logistics operations. You will manage data, analyze performance, and develop actionable recommendations while coordinating with multiple functions and vendors.

You will create reports, build tools, forecast costs, and support process improvements using SQL, Excel, MiniTab, and Visio in a fast-paced environment. Travel up to 90% expected.

Qualifications

• Six Sigma or other Process Improvement Methodology experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word and Visio.
• Advanced skills in Minitab, Access, SQL and Visual Basic for data acquisition and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Create and analyze reports to support business execution.
• Develop tools and solutions based on knowledge, product or technology and identify Logistics process improvement.
• Support vendor/business partner relationships.
• Develop and maintain cost estimates, forecasts, and cost models.
• Perform data management through data mining, data modeling, data analysis, cost/benefit analysis and problem analysis while executing day-to-day processes.
• Support the business through ad-hoc queries and maintain reports from diverse resources.
