Job summary

Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation in Milwaukee, WI invites a Logistics Intern for Summer 2027 to join our Transportation team, analyzing data and helping optimize the transportation network to move goods efficiently.

You will work with cross‑functional colleagues, develop data‑driven insights, and support cost and performance improvements in logistics from our Milwaukee headquarters.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business.
• Proficiency in MS Office. Advanced Excel proficiency preferred.
• Communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Ability to work full time (40 hours) during the Summer.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the highest level code of conduct and ethics.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to optimize transportation management system (TMS).
• Track and report fuel and market data trends using DAT, EIA, and JOC.
• Maintain and update carrier contact master records.
• Develop and implement a standard operating procedure (SOP) for tracking prospective carriers.
• Manage the Certificate of Insurance (COI) process for carriers and ensure compliance.
• Ad-hoc projects as defined.
