Job summary

VectorCSP seeks a Junior Logistics Analyst to support PMA-207 Tactical Airlift Program Office at Patuxent River, MD. You will coordinate, activate, implement, and assure the integrity of planned logistics initiatives and contractual evolutions.

The role requires 0-3 years' analytics related to IPS, proficiency with MS Office, and a BS/BA in acquisition or logistics management. You will work under experienced teams to ensure effective logistics support and cost analysis.

Qualifications

  • BS or BA in Acquisition, Logistics Management, Business, or Management.
  • 0-3 years of experience in analytical studies applicable to IPS.
  • Knowledge of DoD weapon systems logistics recommended.

Responsibilities

  • Provide organizational support to logistics personnel for planned initiatives and contractual evolutions.
  • Assist in development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of logistics and maintainability programs.
  • Collect, analyze, and apply logistics data; support documentation for automated systems.
  • Support IPS/R&M program planning, test, evaluation, and program management analysis.

Salary Range: $60,000.00 To $80,000.00 Annually

Job Summary:

Provide organizational support to functional logistics personnel within the PMA-207 Tactical Airlift Program Office, to include coordination, activation, implementation, and structural integrity of planned initiatives and contractual evolutions.

  • Performs various tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of weapon systems supportability and/or maintainability programs and information systems.
  • Works on logistics and maintainability programs and with logistics and maintenance control organizations on issues such as: technical evaluation and identification of weapons systems logistics requirements and resources; development of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans; systems acquisition requirements analysis; budgetary or financial analysis and control; life cycle cost analysis and control; weapons systems hardware and software standardization and compatibility; Integrated Product Support (IPS)/Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) program test and evaluation planning and execution; and IPS/R&M program management analysis.
  • Collects, compiles, analyzes, investigates, researches, or applies logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information.
  • Develops, modifies, prepares, or validates documentation in relation to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems, and management information systems.

Education:

  • BS or BA degree Acquisition, Logistics Management, Business, or Management. An additional six (6) years of relevant logistics experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree or an additional four (4) years of relevant experience with an Associate’s Degree.

Experience:

  • 0-3 years of experience in conducting analytical studies applicable to IPS and demonstrated ability to conduct studies, analysis, or evaluations of DoD weapon Systems or equipment.

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:

Use of Microsoft applications in daily work (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

The projected salary range for this position is $60,000-$80,000 and is based on experience and contractual requirements. However, this is not a guarantee of salary.
