Job Description

This position is contingent on contract award. International SOS seeks an experienced Logistics Analyst to optimize supply chain operations by analyzing data, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing solutions to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance logistics performance. The role ensures the seamless flow of goods and services, supporting strategic organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Analyze the logistical function, supply chain, and oversee the logistics lifecycle.
  2. Streamline operations and recommend improvements.
  3. Assist in creating or revising standard operating procedures for logistics processes.
  4. Prepare logistics support documentation.
  5. Apply logistics principles and methods to specialized solutions.
  6. Manage logistics databases.
  7. Perform logistics inventories and related functions.

This list is non-exhaustive; additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements/Certifications:

  • 4-10 years of experience in Logistics.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work is typically performed in an office environment.
  • Sitting, standing, climbing stairs for prolonged periods.
  • Bending, stooping, lifting up to 25 lbs may be required.

Other Qualifications:

  • Must have or obtain required security clearances.
