Job Announcement: Logistics Analyst IV - Medical Liaison

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Analyst IV / Medical Liaison to provide comprehensive medical logistics support to various Army units. This role involves coordinating medical sustainment operations, managing medical materiel, and ensuring healthcare readiness. You will work closely with the Program Executive Office Soldier (PEOS), Project Manager Soldier Medical Devices (PM SMD), and other stakeholders to facilitate medical sustainment technical guidance and support.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide medical logistics assistance support to units, ensuring the delivery of medical sustainment technical guidance.
  2. Maintain coordination with PEOS, PM SMD, Medical Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC) liaisons, local stakeholders, and support agencies.
  3. Coordinate maintenance requirements with supported units and local support agencies, including Medical Treatment Facilities and Medical Logistics units.
  4. Manage Class VIII re-supply requirements and assist in developing requirements estimates and resource recommendations.
  5. Assist PEOS, PM SMD Regional Managers with coordinating infrastructure, materiel handling support, and unit synchronization for fielding missions.
  6. Provide analysis and recommendations on procurement strategies for medical materiel and equipment.
  7. Oversee handoff of medical equipment to gaining units, ensuring proper documentation to Regional Managers.
  8. Conduct fault systems analysis for medical materiel support issues, providing problem statements and research-based recommendations.
  9. Support liaison services between PEOS, PM SMD FID, Army Medical Materiel Centers, and global medical support activities and exercises.
  10. Assist in developing, publishing, distributing, and archiving Mission Support Plan agreements and related documents.
  11. Provide expertise on current medical regulations, initiatives, and updates.
  12. Train units on web-based medical materiel readiness tools, sustainment, and inventory management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in medical logistics or a related field.
  • Active DOD Secret security clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Authorization to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Strong knowledge of Army logistics systems such as TEWLS, LOGICOL, AESIP, GCSS-A, LMI-DST, and M3PT.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Experience in medical materiel fielding missions.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and use PPE as required.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
