Job summary

• Prepare technical reports and presentations; support data management and continuous improvement of logistics processes.

SAIC is seeking a Logistician to provide support at the SAIC Hanahan, SC facility in support of multiple Naval Undersea Warfare Center programs.

Job Duties

• The individual will provide material procurement support including development of procurement documentation; completion, scanning, archiving, and management of procurement records and transportation/transfer requests.
• Interface with vendors to obtain quotes, processing Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders, updating Excel spreadsheets with relevant information, both physical and electronic kitting and tracking inventory.
• Interface with customers to develop procurement requirements and to provide status updates.
• Plan, schedule and manage the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production, and to attend meetings.
• Develop meeting minutes and track action items.
• Develop MS Excel procurement tracking documentation.
• Develop project management support documents including program plans, office communications and memoranda.
• Other duties may include developing technical reports, preparing assorted presentations, assisting with the management and tracking of other project data, as required, and ensuring the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistic processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelors and three (3) years or more of related experience; Masters and one year of related experience, years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
