Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics or related field with 2–3 years of experience in international logistics or customer service.
  • Demonstrated ability in data analysis to include interpretation, trends, and recommendations.
  • Understanding of transportation options to meet service levels cost-effectively.
  • Knowledge of international logistics and coordination of production schedules and inventory deployment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI; SAP knowledge.
  • Travel approximately 5% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct distribution and network optimizations to achieve on-time, in-full delivery targets.
  • Maintain records and prepare reports.
  • Coordinate logistics activities with internal/external customers.
  • Create delivery documents to freight forwarders and customers.
  • Allocate available inventory to orders.
  • Generate and distribute metrics reports.
  • Manage activities among shipping locations, planners, and freight forwarders to meet service targets.
  • Identify opportunities for supply chain improvements and POM opportunities.
  • Manage Purchase Orders to ensure product and transportation availability.
  • Serve as main contact and SME for international logistics.
  • Interface with planning groups to maintain warehouse inventory levels.

Purpose Statement

The Logistics Analyst is responsible for developing and implementing logistics strategies that support the efficient international transportation, production, distribution, and inventory management of finished goods, with the objective of optimizing product flow. This role also contributes to the development of policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure operational excellence, quality standards, and cost efficiency across logistics and activities for global markets.

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes
  • Conduct distribution and network optimizations, monitor inventory and analyze requirements to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery and On-time, In-full fill rates.
  • Maintain appropriate records and prepare reports.
  • Coordinate logistics activities with internal/external customers.
Systems and Application Acumen & Data and Financial Analysis
  • Create delivery documents to freight forwarders and customers in a timely manner.
  • Allocate available inventory to orders.
  • Generate and distribute metrics reports.
Process Knowledge, Supply Chain Acumen, and Customer Service Management
  • Manage activities among shipping locations, planners, and/or freight forwarders to achieve service targets.
  • Identify patterns and recognize opportunities for Supply Chain improvements.
  • Purchase Order management to ensure product and transportation availability to customer shipments.
  • Be the main contact and SME for international logistics
Inventory Management
  • Interface with planning groups to ensure and maintain inventory levels at the warehouses to meet service requirements.
  • Identify point of manufacture (POM) opportunities and take actions to capitalize on the opportunities.
  • Review and make appropriate business decisions around inventory/product allocation and actively manage service metrics to established targets.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics or related field with 2 to 3 years of experience in international logistics or customer service
  • Demonstrated ability in data analysis to include interpretation, identification of trends and recommendations for action
  • Demonstrated understanding and implementation of various transportation options to meet service levels in a cost-effective manner
  • Demonstrated knowledge of international logistics
  • Demonstrated understanding and coordination of production schedules and inventory deployment
  • Solid communication skills to include verbal and written capabilities
  • Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI,
  • SAP knowledge
  • Travel 5% of the time

COMPENSATION

In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.

Annual Range/Hourly Rate

$56,338.00 - $76,221.00
