Job summary

JAS Forwarding (USA), Inc. is seeking a Logistics Account Supervisor to oversee day‑to‑day warehouse operations for assigned client accounts. You will supervise staff across receiving, inventory, putaway, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure accurate inventory and on‑time order fulfillment.

The role requires 4+ years in a 3PL warehouse environment and 2+ years supervising teams. You will communicate with customers, use labor management tools, and work with MS Office.

• 4+ years' experience in 3PL warehouse environment
• 2+ years' experience supervising teams and projects in a 3PL warehouse environment
• Experience supervising shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and distribution operations
• Experience communicating with customers
• Experience using labor management tools and reports
• Intermediate experience in MS Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
• Softeon WMS experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all aspect of assigned client accounts within the facility from end-to-end.
• Directing assigned staff to complete tasks within the various warehouse departments for assigned client accounts.
• Managing inventory of assigned client product and running daily cycle counts.
• Leading daily team huddles to update staff on daily tasks, orders, priorities, challenges, and successes.
• Communicating regularly with assigned clients in the operation and resolving issues as needed.
• Monitoring performance and productivity metrics to measure individual and departmental performance.
• Reviewing labor management reports to ensure staffing costs are aligned with client needs.

JAS is an international, non-asset-based supply chain services and solutions company. Our services include air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage and other supply chain management services, including consulting, the coordination of purchase orders and customized management services.The Logistics Account Supervisor is responsible for supervising day to day operations and staff in the warehouse for assigned clients across all warehouse departments including receiving, inventory, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, quality control, and other operations. This role is accountable to ensuring successfully operational and financial performance of their assigned client account(s).Overseeing all aspect of assigned client accounts within the facility from end-to-end.Directing assigned staff to complete tasks within the various warehouse departments for assigned client accounts, including but not limited to receiving, inventory, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, quality control, and other operations.Managing inventory of assigned client product and running daily cycle countsLeading daily team huddles to update staff on daily tasks, orders, priorities, challenges, and successesDelegating tasks within warehouse to team leads so that work is distributed into scalable workloadsCompleting Human Resources administrative matters such as time off and performance management as instructed by direct supervisor/manager.Communicating with local staffing agencies regarding temporary staff needs within the assigned account, with approval from direct supervisor/manager.Monitoring staffing needs of assigned client account and engaging in any recruitment, hiring, or termination processes for direct report associates.Communicating regularly with assigned clients in the operation and resolving issues as neededUsing forecast received from assigned clients to identify staffing and resource needs for operation.Participating in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly review meetings with assigned client account(s).Communicating assigned client needs and updates effectively to logistics department and assigned employees to ensure orders are completed according to customer requirementsMonitoring performance and productivity metrics to measure individual and departmental performance meets company and branch expectations.Reviewing labor management reports to ensure staffing costs are aligned with client needs and branch metrics.Adhering to and enforcing corporate policies and safety standards set by company and OSHA.Performing additional duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

• 4+ years' experience in 3PL warehouse environment
• 2+ years' experience supervising teams and projects in a 3PL warehouse environment

Salary

The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000. The salary will be based on skills and experience.

Environment

Work is generally performed in a warehouse environment around machinery and moving parts. Warehouses are not temperature controlled. Must be able to lift product up to 50lbs.
