Uber Freight is hiring an Account Manager I for our Stuttgart, Arkansas office. This entry-level role focuses on delivering a best-in-class customer experience, serving as the first line of contact for customers, and ensuring freight is serviced to meet standards.

The role emphasizes developing and maintaining customer relationships while achieving operational metrics. The candidate will secure capacity, coordinate with carriers, set up locations/vendors, manage vendor data, and maintain rates

• Must be open to working 5 days in office.

Responsibilities

• Secure Capacity for Load
• Contact carrier to obtain status of load tendered; monitor shipment, update system, notify shipper/receiver, and reschedule if needed
• Set-up New Locations (Shippers/Receivers) and/or Set-up new vendors
• Upload vendor profile sheet, assign vendor code, contact vendor to determine shipping dates, hours or operations
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with carriers, shippers and receivers through professional communications
• Correspond with customer and carrier regarding detention information
• Issue ComChecks within established guidelines
• Maintain current customer rates in the Transportation Management System
• Maintain up-to-date Fuel Surcharge by Customer
• Manage accounts receivables within specified guidelines

About the Role

This position will work in our Stuttgart, Arkansas office 5 days per week. The Account Manager I is an entry level individual contributor position responsible for providing a best‑in‑class customer experience, serving as the first line of contact for our customers. They are responsible for ensuring all freight is serviced to meet/exceed the customer’s standards, while also communicating customer needs and changes to the operations teams. They are expected to develop and maintain customer relationships, while achieving company defined operational metrics.

What the Candidate Will Do

• Secure Capacity for Load
• Contact carrier to obtain status of load tendered; continue monitoring the shipment status and updating in the system, then notifying the shipper and/or Receiver and rescheduling when necessary
• Set-up New Locations (Shippers/Receivers); and/or Set-up new vendors
• Upload vendor profile sheet, assign vendor code, contact vendor to determine shipping dates, hours or operations, etc.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with carriers, shippers and receivers through professional and timely communications and inquiry responses
• Correspond with customer and carrier regarding detention information
• Issue ComChecks within established guidelines
• Maintain current customer rates in the Transportation Management System
• Maintain up-to-date Fuel Surcharge by Customer
• Manage accounts receivables within specified guidelines

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite or Google Workspace
