Job summary

Staples is seeking an Associate Account Manager to support day-to-day management of 3rd party logistics customer accounts, ensuring commitments are met and issues move toward resolution. You will help align internal partners around a consistent customer experience and track performance against agreed metrics.

In this role, you will prepare recurring reports, maintain documentation, and identify opportunities to improve service and retention.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in logistics, transportation, customer service, or related operations.
• 2+ years using Excel to organize information and updates.
• Strong communication with cross-functional partners and vendors.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and follow through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Support daily management of assigned 3rd party customer accounts and maintain relationships.
• Track service levels, KPIs, and requirements to keep commitments clear.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve service and delivery issues.
• Prepare reports and updates to help leaders and customers understand progress.
• Maintain account documentation and SOPs for consistent execution.
• Support account reviews and opportunities to improve service and growth.
• Build relationships with customers, carriers, and internal partners.
