Qualifications

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers and employees following site-specific security procedures.
• Verify access credentials and monitor entry/exit points.
• Maintain entry/exit records and respond to incidents calmly.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and driver entries, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Assist with maintaining entry and exit records for employees, contractors, deliveries, and shipments in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
