Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Entry Screening in Remington, IN to protect clients at a logistics and distribution site. You will manage access points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers.

Day schedule, full-time role with pay rate shown. You will perform patrols, document entries, and respond calmly to incidents to maintain a safe, secure environment.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees.
• Assist with monitoring entry points and controlling access.
• Maintain entry/exit records as required by site procedures.
• Be proficient with basic computer/tablet systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and driver entries, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Assist with maintaining entry and exit records for employees, contractors, deliveries, and shipments in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
