Job summary

LMR Technical Group is seeking a Logistician to join our team. This remote position supports Integrated Logistics Support activities for the U.S. Coast Guard, coordinating planning, scheduling, and analysis to ensure readiness at a sustainable life cycle cost.

You will review ILSPs, perform logistics analyses such as MTA, LORA, and RCM, and compile IMS using MS Project. Familiarity with MILSTD and SharePoint is a plus.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 5 years in integrated product support or sustainment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain SECRET clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
  • Strong written and oral communication; proficient with MS Office and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

  • Review and update Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSPs) for acquisition projects.
  • Perform MTA, LORA, RCM analyses and provisioning studies to align with fielding schedules.
  • Gather BOM data and submit changes to inventory control systems.
  • Develop, baseline, and maintain Integrated Master Schedules using MS Project.

LMR Technical Group (LMR) is seeking a Logistician to join our team.

Location: Remote within the United States.

Job Description:

Performs Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities for the United States Coast Guard. Plans, schedules, coordinate and estimate complex tasks associated with products or services, e.g., design, development, acquisition and maintenance, required to ensure that systems and equipment achieve the required readiness and sustainability posture at an affordable life cycle cost. Develops/ensures requirements and implementation strategies comply with logistics directives and supportability parameters. Performs and coordinates detailed analysis to ensure integration support considerations into the planning and/or design process. Evaluates deliverables for technical adequacy. Supports development of logistics acquisition milestone requirements.

Job Duties:
  • Review and continuously update Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSPs) for acquisition projects.
  • Perform complex logistics engineering analyses, including Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), and sparing/provisioning models to ensure alignment with fielding schedules.
  • Gather Bill of Materiel data to inform Supply Item Change Records submission into inventory control.
  • Develop, baseline, and maintain comprehensive Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) utilizing MS Project to track all acquisition, engineering, and logistics milestones.
  • Conduct Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) and obsolescence analysis on legacy aviation components.
  • Utilize specific tools and applications to include but not limited to WCC portal (SharePoint), PACT tool (SharePoint), Webflis, NATO, and Cage site to accomplish daily tasks.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 5 years of experience working with Integrated Product Support and sustainment programs.

  • U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office experience, including Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Familiar with Military Documentation Standards (MILSTD)
  • Self-starter with the ability to work well with others.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associates degree or higher is preferred.

  • Preferred experience:

    • Government provisioning, cataloguing, and parts QA experience.

    • 5-9 years' experience working in a related field.

    • Background in Provisioning, Configuration Management, Ship Logistics, Design Interface Support and Training.

    • Coast Guard or Military experience with engineering technician or IT background.

Expected Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 per year. Salary will be based on job-related knowledge, skills, education, training, certifications and work location.
