LOGISTICS SUPPLY SPECIALIST

Shift: 6A-2:30P; MUST BE WILLING TO WORK ROTATING WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS

Hours: 80 HOURS PER PAY PERIOD

The Logistics Supply Specialist is a cross-trained role responsible for multiple logistics and supply chain functions. This includes managing materials through shipping & receiving, inventory, and replenishment. The position requires providing exceptional customer service to internal and external customers and collaborating with a cross-functional team including co-workers, clinical staff, supervisors, and management. Prioritization of responsibilities to ensure timely completion of duties is essential.

The role involves managing supplies from receipt to distribution, with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, supply chain inventory software, and mobile devices. Compliance with Patient Experience and Performance Behavior Standards, Facility Disaster Plan, Safety, Infection Control, Blood and Tissue Handling, HazMat policies, and HIPAA requirements is mandatory. Safe operation of material handling equipment is required.

Education

Minimum: High School diploma or GED

Experience

Minimum: No prior experience required

Preferred: Material Management experience, preferably in healthcare

Knowledge and Skills

  • Proficient in mathematics, reading, and writing
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Basic understanding of ERP systems
  • Basic material handling, warehouse, and inventory skills
