Job summary

The Covenant School in Cleveland, OH is seeking a dynamic Part-Time Mathematics and Science teacher for grades 7–12 beginning August 2026. The role is to join our Upper School faculty as a godly role model, inspiring teens through a biblical worldview and classical methodology, with ongoing training provided.

The successful candidate will have a background in mathematics or sciences, teaching experience, and a heart for mentoring students.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Instruct mathematics and sciences to grades 7–12 as part of the Upper School.

MATHEMATICS, GRADES 7-12

Part Time, begins August 2026

We seek a dynamic educator to join our faculty as we come alongside parents to raise their children to be all that God desires. The mathematics and sciences teacher will join a strong Upper School faculty and will be responsible as a godly role model to instruct our teens according to a biblical worldview and classical methodology, for which we provide on-going training. Our desire is for a teacher who loves students of this age, has appropriate background in mathematics and science, and may be a generalist enough to teach in another subject, if desired. Every Upper School teacher has an additional role leading a student "compass group," an additional opportunity to pour into the lives of specific students. This teacher will report to the Upper School principal.Our teachers enjoy adolescents while inspiring them to high standards and the pursuit of genuine Christian faith.
