Job summary

Baillie Lumber Co. is seeking a Log Yard Technician in Donalds, SC. The candidate will operate a front-end loader and knuckle boom to unload and load trucks, while grading and scaling logs per company standards. Safety, teamwork, and hands-on data recording are essential.

Experience in lumber yard operations is preferred; a valid SC driver’s license is required. This is a full-time position on first shift with a comprehensive benefits package and competitive pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience operating log yard equipment or similar in lumber industry.
• Able to work in hot, humid, noisy environments.
• Chainsaw operation experience.
• Valid South Carolina driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loader and knuckle boom to unload/load trucks.
• Grade and scale logs according to company guidelines.
• Adhere to all safety and environmental policies.
• Record data using handheld device.
• Collaborate with team in a fast-paced plant environment.
