Job summary

KellyMitchell Group in Greenwood Village, CO is seeking a Software Support Engineer to analyze logs and data across platforms using Splunk, Kibana, OpenSearch and AWS. The role focuses on technical triage, log analysis and cross-team collaboration in a hybrid work model.

The position requires 3+ years in software engineering or technical support, plus Python or Java development background. You will triage escalated issues, identify root causes, and participate in on-call rotations while adapting

Qualifications

3+ years in software engineering or technical support.
Development background in Python or Java.
Hands-on with Splunk, Kibana, OpenSearch and AWS.
Experience diagnosing large-scale logs.
Strong communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

Triage and analyze issues through logs, then route them to the appropriate development team for resolution.
Troubleshoot escalated issues to identify root cause and determine the DEV team for resolution.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure efficient handoff of issues.
Provide clear and consistent communication on status, findings, and resolutions.
Participate in an on-call rotation (approx. once every 8 weeks, including weekends). Offshore teams handle nights, and overall call volume is low.
Stay adaptable to frequent process updates and operational changes, applying new procedures week to week.
