Marlborough’s largest tour operator, Marlborough Tour Company, is seeking a Lodge Duty Manager and Restaurant Team Leader. Located near Endeavour Inlet in the Marlborough Sounds, Furneaux Lodge and Punga Cove Resort offer stunning scenery and a rich history. Our team is our greatest asset, dedicated to exceptional customer service.
Reporting to the General Manager, this role manages daily operations at Furneaux Lodge and ensures guests have an exceptional experience. Starts September 1st. A current Duty Manager’s certificate is preferred; hotel reception experience is a plus but training is provided.
Reporting to the Operations Manager at Punga Cove Resort, this leadership role involves managing all aspects of the hospitality venue. Requires hands-on approach, problem-solving skills, and team leadership. Starts August/September. A current LCQ certificate is preferable.
Must have experience in hospitality leadership, a passion for customer service, and the ability to manage staff effectively. Knowledge of NZ & European cuisine and wines is desirable. Understanding of Health and Safety regulations is essential.
Applicants must be NZ residents or hold valid work visas. Sponsorship is not available. All employees must pass a pre-employment drug test.
