Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment seeks a board-certified Urologist for duties across hospital and clinic settings in Oregon. You will evaluate and treat a broad range of urologic conditions, perform surgeries and outpatient procedures, and provide on-call coverage for emergencies and admissions.

The role requires Oregon licensure, active DEA registration, and BLS certification, with coordination across hospital teams and precise documentation in Meditech and eClinicalWorks.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with a variety of urologic conditions in clinic and hospital settings.
• Perform scheduled urologic surgeries and outpatient procedures.
• Provide on-call coverage for hospital emergencies and admissions.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic cystoscopic procedures.
• Manage urinary stones, prostate conditions, bladder disorders, and other urologic concerns.
• Perform adult and pediatric procedures, including circumcision, orchiopexy, hydrocele repair, and related surgeries.
• Perform procedures involving ureteral stents, ureteroscopy, lithotripsy, TURP, TURBT, biopsies, and sacral neuromodulation.
• Coordinate patient care with hospital staff and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Meditech and eClinicalWorks.

Schedule & Details

• Coverage: 1-2 weeks per month,Monday-Thursday


• Monday-Thursday: Surgery 7:00 AM-2:00PM; clinic 3:00 PM-5:00 PM


• Friday: Clinic only, 8:00AM-5:00 PM


• Call: 24-hour call Monday-Thursday


• Friday Call: None


• Practice Setting: Hospital andphysician clinic


• EMR: Meditech andeClinicalWorks

Responsibilities

Required Procedures

Thephysician should be comfortable performing a broad range of procedures,including:

• Cystoscopy, bladderbiopsy, Botox injections, and intravesical mitomycin


• Ureteroscopy, stoneextraction, laser lithotripsy, and ureteral stent placement


• Prostate biopsy,TURP, and TURBT


• Hydrocelectomy,orchiopexy, circumcision, and spermatocele excision


• UroLift, bladderirrigation, and clot evacuation


• Suprapubiccatheter placement and urethral procedures


• Sacralneuromodulation and device-related procedures


• Other routine adultand pediatric urologic surgeries and outpatient procedures
