Job summary

BAS HealthCare in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider with Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery expertise for a locums-to-perm role. You will round on inpatients (ICU/stepdown), handle new consults, and manage patient discharges in a high-acuity setting.

Daily duties include medical management, ER consultations, transfers, and EVH support; weekend coverage and on-site presence required. Board-certified CT surgery experience preferred; Indiana license essential.

Qualifications

• Board certification required.
• Indiana license or IMLC to practice required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Credentialing timeframe: ~30 days.

Responsibilities

• Daily inpatient rounding on ICU/stepdown units.
• New consults and patient discharges.
• Medical management and call coverage for inpatient care and ER transfers.
• EVH assistance and possible first assist on cases; weekend OR call.
