Job summary

Medicus Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for locum Cardiothoracic Surgery coverage in western Indiana. Schedule is 6a-4p with rare beeper call, first-assist duties, and vein harvesting. EMR is Cerner; must be board-certified; travel and expenses paid.

You’ll work with surgeons and support staff, with licensing and credentialing support from our in-house team, complimentary travel and lodging, and exclusive My Medicus Loyalty perks after your first shift.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Nurse Practitioner required for cardiothoracic surgery locum coverage.
• First-assist duties during procedures, vein harvesting responsibilities.
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide locum Cardiothoracic Surgery coverage as first-assist.
• Collaborate with surgeons and support staff during cases.
• Manage vein harvesting as part of patient care.
