Job summary

CompHealth is seeking a locum pathology professional to work across facilities in Kentucky. The role focuses on general pathology with surgical and GI cases and excludes pediatric or neuro cases.

Expect a high-volume workload: 30–40 surgical cases and 10 cytology cases per day, with on-call rotation and a 30-minute response time. Housing, travel, and malpractice coverage are provided.

Qualifications

• General pathology experience including surgical and GI cases.
• No pediatric or neuro pathology cases.
• Ability to handle high volume: 30–40 surgical cases and 10 cytology cases daily.
• On-call rotation with 30-minute response time.

Responsibilities

• Review surgical and cytology specimens and document findings.
• Perform grossing duties with 3–4 hours every third day.
• Coordinate with facilities for credentialing and privileging.
• Maintain timely communication with the recruiting team.

• Frozen sections 1 - 4 per week
• General pathology case mix including surgical and GI
• No pediatric or neuro cases

From $180.00 to $220.00 Hourly
Ranges shown should be used as an estimate and are affected by many factors including the critical need of the position, your overall experience and qualifications, and other considerations.
