Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking an anesthesiologist for ongoing locum tenens coverage in Dallas, Texas. The schedule is typically Mon–Fri with a 1:3 call rotation and on-site involvement for cardiothoracic, vascular, and general anesthesia cases. TEE experience is preferred but not required, and fellowship training is a plus.

Weekend beeper calls are off-site; travel and housing costs are prepaid. The assignment involves 1–2 weeks per month with a responsive Weatherby consultant available 24/7.

Job description

• Mon - Fri, 7 am - 3 pm with call 1:3
• Call schedule shifts to 1:2 if only 2 anesthesiologists present
• Off-site beeper call on weekends -- come in for cases only
• Approx. 180 hearts per year
• Case mix: cardiothoracic, vascular, and general anesthesia
• TEE preferred but not required -- cardiac experience required
