Job summary

Aura Health is seeking an experienced obstetrician-gynecologist to manage high- and low-risk pregnancies, perform complex deliveries, and provide OB ultrasounds. The role includes surgical gynecology, including open and laparoscopic procedures, with on-call duties.

You will handle amniocentesis and delivery techniques while supporting patient care across shifts and maintaining high-quality outcomes for mothers and babies.

Qualifications

• Relevant obstetrics and gynecology experience with ultrasound proficiency.
• Experience with amniocentesis and diverse delivery techniques.

Responsibilities

• Manage low and high risk pregnancies and routine/complicated deliveries.
• Perform OB ultrasounds, amniocentesis and laceration repairs as needed.

Job description

Responsibilities

• managing low and high risk pregnancies, routine and complicated deliveries (vaginal, C-section, breech, VBACs), surgical gynecology (open and laparoscopic procedures), OB ultrasounds, amniocentesis, and laceration repairs.

Skills required

• FHR interpretation and forceps delivery skills.

Work schedule

• Friday to Monday, 5 pm - 5 am, with on-call duties every 5th weekend.

Patient volume

• Approximately 5 patients per shift.
