Job summary

Curative is seeking a Locums OB Hospitalist in Indiana to provide obstetrics and gynecology coverage with a predictable weekly schedule and no call. The role includes inpatient and outpatient work, including deliveries, GYN procedures, and ultrasounds.

Coverage is 8a–5p on Wednesdays, starting in early 2027, with an ongoing need to reach about 4 shifts per month. Board-certified or -eligible physicians licensed in Indiana with BLS are eligible.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Indiana license active LOQ with IMLC.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN coverage including deliveries and GYN procedures.
• OB ultrasounds, colposcopy, IUDs and LEEP.
• Open or laparoscopic gynecologic surgery (hysterectomies, cystectomies).

Schedule

• Weekday coverage, Wednesdays.
• Scheduled hours are 8a to 5p.
• Ongoing supplemental coverage need starting in early 2027.
• No call.

Cases and Procedures

• Routine deliveries and C section deliveries.
• OB ultrasounds.
• Office and minor GYN procedures, including colposcopy, IUDs, and LEEP.
• Open and laparoscopic GYN surgery, including hysterectomies, cystectomies, and ectopic pregnancy management.

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Obstetrics and Gynecology Surgery.
• Indiana license required, will wait for license with an active IMLC LOQ only.
• BLS required.
