Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible, with certification required within 5 years
• Michigan license preferred; IMLC considered
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Recent case logs: ≥50 deliveries in past 12 months; ≥25 GYN procedures in past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care and clinic management
• Perform procedures including C-sections, D&C, tubal ligations, and laparoscopy
• Read and interpret NSTs
• Support from an experienced clinical team during shifts

Job description

We are seeking a Locums OB/GYN Physician to provideclinic and procedural coverage in Alpena, Michigan. This opportunity offers aconsistent weekday clinic schedule, a manageable patient volume, and supportfrom an experienced clinical team.

Schedule

• Monday–Thursday: 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
• Friday: 7:30 AM–12:00 PM
• Clinic Volume: Approximately 2 patients per hour, depending onappointment length

Clinical Support

• Three nurses scheduled per shift
• A midwife will be available beginning in September to assist withcall coverage

Procedures & Responsibilities

The physician will provide comprehensive OB/GYN careand perform procedures including:

• Suction D&C
• Laparoscopy
• Reading and interpreting NSTs
• Cesarean sections
• Circumcisions
• Tubal ligations

Additional Details

• EMR/Dictation: Epic and Dragon

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible, with certification requiredwithin 5 years
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Recent case logs demonstrating:
• At least 50 deliveries within the past 12 months
• At least 25 GYN procedures within the past 12 months
• Michigan license preferred
• Candidates participating in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact(IMLC) will be considered
