Job summary

BAS Healthcare, Inc. seeks two Cardiology NP/PA providers for an inpatient/hospital-based role at a Level II trauma center in Jackson, MI. Position starts once credentialed; schedule is 2 weeks per month, 7 days on/off, 7:30am–4:00pm, with no overnights or on-call.

Responsibilities include 80% inpatient rounding, 20% outpatient care, follow-up management, discharge instructions, and post-procedure care. Board-certified candidates with 3+ years in cardiology and Michigan license preferred.

Qualifications

• AANP or NCCPA certification required.

Job Details

• Two Cardiology APP providers needed to start as soon as credentialed
• Locum position with potential to convert to Locum to Perm
• Inpatient/hospital-based practice setting serving adult and geriatric patients
• 80% inpatient rounding, 20% outpatient responsibilities
• Manage follow-up patients on the cardiology inpatient rounding service
• Provide discharge instructions and manage post-procedure care
• No procedure skills required
• Average daily volume of 20-25 patients based on the inpatient list
• Leadership and teaching responsibilities included
• EMR: Epic
• Schedule: 2 weeks per month, 7 days on / 7 days off, Sunday through Saturday, 7:30am - 4:00pm; no overnights, no on-call
• Target start date: January 2027
• Credentialing timeframe estimated at 90-120 days
• Board Certification required
• 3 or more years of prior experience in an inpatient and outpatient cardiology setting required
• Active Michigan license required at time of name clear
• ACLS and BLS through AHA required
• Clean background required; no malpractice or license issues, no exceptions
• AANP or NCCPA certification required
• Local candidates requiring only mileage reimbursement will be prioritized
