Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA) for locum tenens support at an inpatient hospital in Michigan.

The schedule is 2 weeks per month—7 days on, 7 off—Sunday through Saturday, 7:30am–4pm. No overnights or on-call. Board-certified providers with BLS and ACLS are required, along with Michigan licensure and EPIC EMR experience.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in the respective role (NP/PA).
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Michigan state medical license.
• EPIC EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage follow-up patients on the cardiology service.
• Provide discharge instructions and post-procedure care.
• Perform inpatient rounding on the cardiology service.
• No on-call or overnight duties.

Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP)

StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Day 9 Pay Rate: $101.85 - $110.25

This facility is seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant(NP) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: 2 weeks per month - 7 days on, 7 off. Sunday-Saturday 7:30am-4pm. No overnights, no on-call.
• Practice Setting: Hospital, inpatient
• Type of cases: No procedure skills required. Will manage follow up patients on the cardiology, rounding service, provide discharge instructions and manage post-procedure care.
• Credentialing timeframe: 90-120 days
• Electronic Medical Record: EPIC
• Certifications required: Board Certified, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Licensure required: Michigan state medical license
