Job summary

Curative is seeking an MD/DO Interventional Cardiologist for long-term locum coverage in California, with a mix of inpatient and outpatient duties and a predictable clinic volume of ~12 patients per day.

You will perform standard interventional cardiology procedures including STEMI and PCI, TEEs and cardioversions, and Pacemakers, with daytime physician support onsite and 24-hour call coverage on weekdays and rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be an MD or DO.
• Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology.
• California medical license required.
• DEA required.

Responsibilities

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient interventional cardiology duties.
• Clinic coverage with an approximate 12 patients per day.
• Consults on inpatients and ED patients requiring cardiac input; interpret echos, stress tests and ECGs.
• Interventional procedures such as STEMI/PCI, TEEs, cardioversions, and pacemakers.

Practice Setting

Schedule

• Coverage needed Monday through Sunday
• Scheduled clinic hours are weekdays, with 24 hour call coverage
• Weekday 24 hour call and rotational weekend 24 hour call required

Cases and Procedures

• Standard interventional cardiology, including STEMI and PCI
• TEE and cardioversions
• Pacemakers
• No EP or CTS onsite
