Job summary

Odyssey Locums seeks a Locum Cardiologist for 100% outpatient general cardiology in California. The role includes a 4–5 day/week schedule, Mon-Thu 8a-5p with 1h lunch and Fri 8a-12p, beginning late June/early July. You will work with MA/Clinic Supervisor and RN, and use Cerner EMR.

Board certification in Cardiology and active CA license are required, with US/Canada CA-accredited residency. The assignment offers competitive hourly pay, housing, travel, and tail coverage malpractice insurance.

Qualifications

• Fellowship in Cardiology completed
• Residency program accredited in CA or US/Canada
• California medical license active
• Board certification in Cardiology (BC)

Responsibilities

• Perform 100% outpatient general cardiology
• No invasive procedures required
• Manage ~20 patients per day
• Coordinate with MA/Clinic Supervisor and RN
• Work a full-time schedule (4–5 days/week) from late June/early July
• Use Cerner electronic medical records

• Duties: Full scope OP General Cardiology - Client will accept Interventional Cardiologist but must be ok doing general cardiology.
• 100% OP general cardiology, no "procedures"
• Patients Per Day: 20
• Support Staff: MA/Clinic Supervisor, RN
• EMR: Cerner
• Certification Requirements: BC in Cardiology, Active CA License
• Residency requirements/ Fellowship: Cardiology. Must be US/Candadian, CA accredited program
• Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 Days
• $1000 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days.
