Job description

Ahealthcare facility in Twin Falls is seeking a Locums General Orthopedic SurgeryPhysician to provide coverage at a Level III Trauma Center. This positionoffers the opportunity to manage acute orthopedic trauma cases while workingwith a collaborative surgical and emergency medicine team.

TheOrthopedic Surgeon will evaluate and manage patients with acutemusculoskeletal injuries in both inpatient and emergency settings. Thephysician will perform operative and non-operative treatments while workingclosely with emergency medicine physicians, hospitalists, and surgical supportteams.

Compensation: $4050 per shift

Responsibilities

• Evaluate andtreat patients with traumatic orthopedic injuries in a Level III traumacenter
• Perform operativeand non-operative fracture management and related orthopedic procedures
• Provide consultationsfor emergency department and inpatient cases
• Participate in traumacall coverage as part of the orthopedic team
• Collaborate witha multidisciplinary team, including emergency medicine, trauma surgeons,and advanced practice providers
• Maintainaccurate documentation and ensure high standards of patient safety andquality care

Qualifications

• Board Certifiedor Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowshiptraining in Orthopedic Trauma preferred
• Eligible for Idahomedical licensure
• Strong clinicaljudgment and ability to manage complex trauma cases
• Excellentcommunication and teamwork skills
