Responsibilities

• 24-hour call shifts — 7 am to 7 am
• Between 5 – 11 shifts per month
• Inpatient setting — rounding on assigned patients
• 0 – 6 patients per shift
• Upper GI endoscopy, ERCP, colonoscopy, PEG, and more required
• Beeper call with 30-minute response time — 1:3 call ratio
